2018 World Championships Houston

After Qualifying at the Idaho Regional, we traveled to Houston to compete at the FIRST World Championships. We flew out on April 17, and we landed in Houston that same day. The competition started on the Wednesday the 18th and lasted until Saturday the 21st. Our team played on the Robling field.  We did quite well the first day of matches; by the end of the day we were ranked 15th on our field. Sadly, the second day of matches did not go well and we did not win a single match. We still had fun though! All in all, it was a great experience for all of the team! The Puncher Robotics team would like to thank all of our sponsors that helped us through out the season, and a huge shoutout to those who went and funded our gofundme at last minute. Also, a special thank you to the governor of Wyoming, Matt Mead, for flying to Houston and stopping by our pits to wish us good luck and sign our robot. We would also like to thank him for watching a couple of our matches.
