What a season!

Last week we participated in a Week 4 regional in Denver, Colorado. It was quite a wild weekend, with many high points and some low points. We finally figured out why our climber was performing only half the time. It was incredibly refreshing to figure out and fix the problem. We were in the match where all six robots climbed for the first time during the regional. This was nerve-racking as our robot almost did not make the climb! The change that we made to our gear catcher vastly improved our capability to catch the gears from the human players, something that quickened our ability to run gears. Due to this change, we were part of the alliance that was able to get all four rotors turning during a qualification match. That was really awesome to watch!! While we did not place as high as we did at the Utah Regional, we all had fun and enjoyed our time in Denver.

One thing that we are happy about is that the majority of our team will be returning next year. Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to our foreign exchange students, who were an integral part of our team this year.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and mentors for supporting us through the process. You taught us how to build a robot, program, and wire motors. We thank you for all of your time that you have dedicated to our team. We hope to have you back helping and teaching us next year!

Keep an eye out for any out of the season activities we will be participating in, hope to see community members there!
