Better late than never with this post.
During our Colorado Regional trip, the team had the opportunity to visit the PEAK Center at Craig Hospital where a Big Piney High School graduate works. We would like to send our warmest thank you's to Candy Tefertiller, the director of physical therapy and our guide for the evening. During our visit we were able to walk through the PEAK Center and view all the incredible equipment available for those who have spinal cord injuries.
Here we are learning about how exoskeleton systems work. The technology involved with creating and implementing these medical equipment is incredible. Many of us were enthralled with learning about not only this device but all of the equipment and our minds were opened to a different career opportunity with robotics and medicine.

Our team definitely asked many questions that Candy was able to answer and dive even deeper into the medical aspects of all the equipment that PEAK Center has. We are all excited about what the future of science holds in the medical field and how we can use our creativity to build and better the world.

We would like to give another huge thank you to Candy and her dedication to helping those with spinal cord injuries at Craig Hospital.
